Every man who has been circumcised has two stories...
the one he can't remember,
and the one he can't forget.
Death from circumcision is rare — but it is not zero, and every case is a healthy child lost to a medically unnecessary surgery. Behind each name is a family who was told the procedure was simple and safe.
We name them because the cost of this practice is too easily reduced to statistics. Remembering them is part of why we ask, plainly: should a healthy, non-consenting child be put at any risk at all?
